Hello, I'm learning about investing in real estate and and starting to branch out. 

However, I am wanting to branch out and have loved researching the market in Cincinnati.

I have focused my efforts in Bourbonnais IL, but am not as opposed as I was of branching out (only 3 SFR).

My name is Rachael and I'm a corporate insurance professional and a fairly new investor in the Spring Branch, TX area.

We also get wind, so trees will lose branches and fall down.

In terms of forming one in each state - honestly, I think it's best to get really familiar and find success in one state and then branch out and deal with the added complications of working in multiple states (a lot of laws can change from state-to-state, so again, it'll just add to the confusion if you choose to work all over the country from the very beginning).

As you found they could be the preeminent energy crowdfunder, making them a temping takeover target for other sites that want to branch out from real estate.   

I have seen some recommend Southstar and that might be a great option but they don't have a San Antonio branch so making the initial deposit to open the bank requires a little drive 50-60 miles.
