Whether you should house hack a duplex or a single-family home depends on various factors, including your financial goals, lifestyle preferences, and market conditions.

You'll never have all the perfect information and it's good to have a healthy fear to force due diligence.

Of course if you have zero debt and modest lifestyle probably works.
