I'm guilty of this to a fault at times, prioritizing other peoples families over my own even..but success takes sacrifice and top real estate professionals are generally rewarded for their contributions to protecting and providing for their clients.

It is part of the game as with any other potentially high-reward endeavor but it doesn't have to affect your well-being.That said, your vanguard account is a good reminder that there are other avenues to consider outside of RE.I'd recommend continuing to diversify by exploring other RE options.

Investing in California, particularly in Orange County, can indeed be challenging but also rewarding with the right strategies.

I think it’s rewarding to do restoration on an older property. 

Setting up your home as a corporate rental or for traveling nurses can be very rewarding, especially given your prime location.
