As an added touch because my cabinet guy is like me and loves to put on that special touch, there is crown at the top and the exposed sides of the cabinets are recessed-panel to match the craftsman period.To me, this makes sense for a long-term buy-and-hold rental.

I just finished doing a room in crown molding.

Here is my review and I don't work for any of these stores.I needed to order lumber and my contractor suggested that I contact Crown Lumber or Home Depot for the materials. 

This is a 2-level and I'm not big on heights, so if something like spikes needs to be installed on the crown of the roof where they always land) then I'd need to hire someone.
