Do you have an approval or is something even grandfathered in that would allow you to put up a billboard? 

I was pre-approved for a conventional mortgage with a 3 % down payment 2.75 Interest Rate.

@Andrew Caton if money isn't an issue you should have no problem getting approved by a bank, it would probably be harder to get two unrelated people approved for a single loan than it would for you to get approved on your own. 

Hey guys, My wife and I are under contract on a condo in Kihei that is vacation rental approved.

There was no Fidelity custody, there was no bank approved custody, there was no Elon Musk tweeting, etc.

Either they get approved through the website, or they have to pay the fees.

I ended the offer to rent to the tenant on December 1st and didn't receive any communication from LMHA until December 15th when they tried to schedule the inspection...that's 45 days to process a voucher.We had another home pass inspection on November 5th and we hadn't "stopped and waited" for LMHA because it had never been a major issue before so we let the tenant move in...LMHA announced on November 15th that the tenant voucher needed to be re-evaluated by LMHA and that the rent rate needed to be adjusted (The story was the "Administrator A" reviewed and approved it but since they had resigned, now we had to wait for "Administrator B" to do it.

An illegal unit was never legal per zoning/ building codes, and cannot be occupied without city approval.
