I think it boils down to the belief that investing where we can't go see it everyday, somehow frees us up to put our trust and faith in someone else. 

I also religiously go to many food at pantries to pick organic food.

@Cary Ferguson Jr, I know it is sack-religious as a BP member to not have read 4 hour work week (on the to do list) but wouldn't it be a GR8 problem to have to figure how to fill the time void, I am quite confident we can figure it out, LOL.  

Watching your savings grow is exciting, cause you know you are getting closer to investing in RE.No matter how much you save per month, whether it is $200.00 a month or $20.00 a month , the golden key is the DISCIPLINE in saving religiously and consistently.

First off, as long as it's not illegal or immortal, or there is no other objection (specifically religious), then for my mind, go ahead.Part if the negativity comes from the "debt collecting" part of the job, "throwing" folks out of their houses, taking advantage of little old ladies and the like.

You need to 100% believe you are gonna be a success in whatever you want to obtain and cut out the limiting beliefs or you will end up nowhere.

@John Fulton I believe the issue with the opposing views/commentary is that a lot of the information and beliefs are relative to one's own perception or experiences and ultimately their end goal.

Similiar situation, I used to religiously get 8 hours... but for what?

Outside of our shared belief in property rights your attitude towards guns reminds me of why I left Brooklyn! 

I found some primary ones to be limiting beliefs, fear of the unknown, and deviating from the crowd.
