I've been registered here for a while (may have even done one of these intros, but don't remember) and I have future plans to use property for income as everyone else here.

Great if you can get it but that's a pretty high % to aspire to in my experience. 

I am an (aspiring) buy-and-hold real estate investor, and I'm most interested in the snowball effect of growing a portfolio of cash-flowing properties. 

Only an experienced attorney who knows your exact situation and aspirations could possibly give you specific advice worth following.That said, here's one general principle to keep in mind: You probably don't want the owning entity for a property to be the same as the leasing entity.

There is a reason many people, who can afford to do so, aspire to live in CA and especially the Bay Area.
