We have panels on our rental.

@Brad HallmarkI had a similar idea of outfitting some properties (once I get some) with solar panels.

I’m thinking of putting solar panels on my rental but on the 9 storage units, not the duplex itself.  

Drywall, joint compound, pipe insulation, siding, floor tiles, floor adhesive, fire wall panels - that's just a few places where it was used.

I was wondering if it is common practice whatsoever to install solar panels on rental properties?

Has anyone installed solar panels on their rental units to earn passive income?

I’m looking at residential and commercial  property in western MA and Florida and I’m wondering if there are any incentives for buying solar on business rooftops or just on land (I see this a lot in residential proper...

If I did, I'd be buying the panels, financing them at $200/mo for 25 years.

Panels can be lifted up by hand, the ridge caps aren't actually ridge caps but someone bent metal pieces to DIY a ridge cap, the roof isn't vented, and no underlayment between the asphalt shingles and metal roof.
