Thanks for the input- we heard back with 5 minutes to spare and they countered with the list price and $2500 earnest money.I'm a little confused about this earnest money stuff.

I do own my own home and rent out my spare bedrooms to roommates.

We both work full time in other industries, so we are planning on doing this in our spare time.  

I tested the concepts on a small scale by renting out my spares rooms when I actually bought my house.

That said, I am new to the scene, and if there are any tips that some of you experienced guys and gals can spare, I would love to hear from you.I started my own business two years ago, after spending two years in sales.

I'd take me some spare keys too! 

The only issue is we don't have any spare rooms - we're in a 3 bedroom, besides the master for my wife and I, our daughter has one and my father in law that I take care of is in the other.

I currently own a  car lot in Rock Hill and I am looking to fix and flip some Charlotte area properties in my spare time.
