Felix, you have the right attitude, don't give up!

I myself had experienced the "game is to be sold" attitude from many investors but I quickly learned the reason they were so protective of their secrets or techniques is because as MikeOH says "...there are no secrets" this is a simple business"....

Sometimes people who struggle to get things done ("can't do" attitude), are looking for a reason why they can't do things. 

It's great that you have a good attitude about it.

There has not been some massive generational attitude shift.Too many people are landlording who have absolutely no business doing it, with sky-high expectations and no real understanding of what's involved.

If the bank doesn't like the economy, your management, your attitude, or or they need to adjust their portfolio due to Fed Reserve requirements, they can accelerate the note and call it due.

Only thing that does is your attitude and proficiency at the job at hand.

@Chris MullinaxHere's the problem, most landlords with this attitude are looking at landlording through "rose-colored glasses"! 

Attitude -- I found many agents had a really disturbing sense of entitlement.
