Currently SeekingI am looking for investors interested in Canadian Real Estate & investors in the United States with experience selling real estate to Canadians.

There are a handful of Canadians regularly active on the site and half-a-dozen from Québec (mostly the MTL area).  

However, i am a Canadian and do not live in the USA but i was enticed by the Co-wholesaler JV model and recently partnered with two Wholesalers in Jacksonville Florida.This is no problem.

For now though -- Canadian RE Market seems over extended and prices high.  

As I mentioned in the first post, my interest is in knowing what other canadian investors are doing and how they're doing it.  

That Canadian has the right idea, LOL.Zoning is accomplished based on restrictive uses under police powers (Ooops, basic RE stuff) categories or zoning areas are set from a highest use or restriction to the lowest restriction.

Not a booming market like Royal Oak or Hazel Park but I'm hoping it'll appreciate well enough.

The main thing holding me back from investing in the states is having to build a completely new network and still have to look into the tax implications and how it affects ROI as I know Canadians end up having to pay tax to both the US/Can Gov't for rental properties in the US

@Greg Sheldon I found a meetup on Facebook on Aug 1st @ 6:30pm at the Royal Lepage office at 1350 Provincial.

It is weird as a proper, polite Canadian to negotiate hard, but it can be done.
