So this is what we found:Date: 3/20/2008Grantor: Wells FargoGrantee: Smith JohnDoc type: SatLegal Description: 1234/45Book: 5006Page: 678Ok, so your head is probably spinning from information overload but this is what you are looking at.You may not have understood everything, if that is the case, print out this post and take it to your title company's abstractor, or to the local clerk's office and have them follow the instructions with you and explain what I just showed you.So finally, Doing a basic search like this can be a huge tool in your arsenal, but always refer back to your title company for the full works.Hope this helps!!

Some of the tenants I avoided like the plague: undergraduates, anyone in the middle of divorce or recently divorced, applicants who asked for weird changes to the apartment - can you add more closet rods to the closet?

My first ever tenant called me a lot to ask things like if I could get a replacement rod for one of the blinds and I was like "$1.99 at Home Depot--feel free to deduct from next months rent. " She also called me about light bulbs.
