The furniture alone would make your head spin, let alone the architecture (think The Queluz National Palace in Portugal). 

@Rod Joseph same here same here - i think section 8 is a great way to accommodate folks that otherwise couldn't afford the places they rent / helps them / helps the landlord so all good. 

Great conversation here Gang.Let me give my spin of something that has been hugely successful for myself and my students.

Some of the tenants I avoided like the plague: undergraduates, anyone in the middle of divorce or recently divorced, applicants who asked for weird changes to the apartment - can you add more closet rods to the closet?  

My first ever tenant called me a lot to ask things like if I could get a replacement rod for one of the blinds and I was like "$1.99 at Home Depot--feel free to deduct from next months rent. " She also called me about light bulbs.

Exterminator said I'll be spinning my wheels untill I get the stuff out.

There are just so many strategies to choose from that it makes my head spin.
