@Craig Hormes Government paid rent is a pretty good option in this climate of high unemployment and not being able to evict tenants.

I've written about climate change and weather risk pretty openly, though I agree lots of people are NOT talking about.

Even though I don't live there... all of my investment properties are in Texas... mainly due to the regulatory/business climate.

It was unique climate in history and lending has obviously changed since the housing bubble Ten years ago but apparently ten years is just long enough for people to forget all the lessons that were learned back then .

While the economic climate dictated his profit and it cannot be expected all of the time, there is no profit to be made when renting on accident.  

I have anxiaty disorder pretty bad and it was flairing up when I wrote this I'm sure I'll be fine with my safety the smell was just bugging me

Being put in a new environment made me realize that poverty is an attitude disorder and not just a financial condition.

I know that BP says house hacking is a great way to start out, but with the tenant-focused  political climate it doesn't seem to make sense for first time investors.
