If it is not someone you know well or have done a deal with before, you can always draft a promissory note or another document that shows what partners are contributing what amount to said LLC, and specify loan terms and duration.When my partner and I funded our LLC we also kept a log of "personal contributions" so we both knew exactly what we had put into the business with the intent of eventually paying ourselves back.
