Transferring money to an LLC

Angelica Frias
Posted

Hello all, I am starting to learn about investing in real estate and I am currently working with a group to learn from each other and start investing together.. I have heard that it can get messy for various reasons. However we have decided to work together for now to leverage each others resources and knowledge. We are thinking to transfer funds to one member's LLC to have the POF ready. We are not creating an LLC as a group for the time being. Has anyone done this before? is there specific paperwork we should sign before transferring the money?

Thank you for any help!
