The cost of taking an hour longer to go to work and go to meetings, and the cost of more insurance, higher repair costs, hiring a driver with a Commercial driver's license, gas mileage of only a few miles per gallon, not being able to park anywhere is a huge burden on making a business profitable.

I also know several taxicab drivers that'll let me purchase gift cards of $20 bucks or more to offer to my tenants if my van is unavailable.

But as for multi-family, the income is the driver.

However, money is no longer the primary driver.

Active is great because it allows you to be in the driver's seat.

The drivers for us are limited supply and cost of living is affordable - we feel this mix allows us room to grow rents. 

We want to invest in markets where the future demand for real estate is likely to be higher than today, and those are all key drivers of demand for rentals. 

My current 9 to 5 is a truck driver so I love to listen to audio books as I drive.

It probably would protect you if it was an employee driving the car unless you had reason to believe they were not a safe driver.
