If it's in the floor tiles, best bet would be leave it in place and go over with a gokd vapor barrier followed by a vinyl plank floor.

I would recommend an underpayment with vapor barrier just to give it a little bounce.

The footers of the house are CMU block and filled in with concrete, no footer below the cmu block, just SP2.Notice that brick goes all the way up, no footer or brick ledge only sitting on sp2, has 1 tie in 16" up from the sp2 and up the wall..nothing to hold the brick courses in place, not to mention missing water proofing/vapor barrier.

Same way or inside shower surround except there it will get a poly vapor barrier behind concrete board,,,and ditra waterproof liner OVER the concrete board before tile install.

By the way, silver has intrinsic value, your vapor that may be paying you dividends, does not.Speaking of a high transaction cost when you go through a realtor to sell property, there is a high transaction cost. 6% is a joke.The stock market will crash very soon and our monetary system is about done.

Either way you need the sump, and in if it's a dirt floor, you should also have a vapor barrier that will keep the water from migrating out of the ground.
