I know they can be very difficult to manage, and many of them are old.Self storage and industrial are two niches that I think you should also consider.

Do the closets have nice organization storage?

For example, if you have a garage, basement, or storage area that’s not in use, rent it out separately to a tenant or even a non-tenant for additional income. 

Its simply not feasible to run title on everything that you want to bid on if your out west.the reason is you can look at 50 props you like and only 1 maybe 2 will actually go to sale and you have competition on those.. now i am talking TRUE foreclosure sales not Auction after the fact.

Again, many folks are just looking to talk to someone about HOW TO START investing in real estate instead of having a basic foundation of what is feasible - and they want the money right now.

I’m very green and brand new to real estate investing so I wanted to make sure this was something actually feasible.

Well...I showed everyone a week ago how to turn $500,000 into $5 million in 5 years and it is very feasible.

I wanted to inquire and poke around on whether this is something feasible or if I should look towards other places (like Chicago). 

I now have three tenants and I lease part of one of the properties back to my business as a storage yard (so 4 streams of income).
