So has anyone out there gone the route of Rent to Retirement?

New Jersey is not a horrible state for investing it is more so certain towns and cities that give NJ a very bad name. 

Please - do this today: Send her a Notice To Quit for Non-Payment of Rent; you will need to send this to her via USPS with proof of delivery required so you can use it in any legal proceeding.

Understand the fees involved and calculate the total cost for an entire year of management so you can compare the different managers.

I like your suggestion of targeting a property with existing tenants and minimal work needed so I can ease into the process while building my network of contractors. 

I'm still getting up to speed with things, so I can't say quite yet exactly what type of real estate investing I'd like to pursue, but from what I know so far I'm leaning toward long-term single family rentals in the Colorado Springs area.

I do know of the physician loans, I am also a veteran so I have the VA loan, and I was also looking at the FHA loans, but can anyone give me any insight that will help me get into a multi family with the salary situation I’m in?
