We assume it's from the massive competition in the market.We listed our place on Airbnb for funsies and got bookings there.My conclusion is that the "traveling nurse" market is better suited for 1-2 bedroom townhomes and condos.

The catch is that the populations are all recent.. recent as in, massive booms in the last 40 years when suburbs ruled the development world, and density didn't necessarily increase except in the most urban and highly commercialized sections of the city (city centers primarily, which is mostly class-A prime real estate).

@Karim Elahi there are areas with massive section 8 potential and appreciation (19145,19146 areas of South Philly can be great) the areas however will depends entirely on your investment strategy.
