What happens if your primary residence burns down?

As I have been reading a lot of terrible experiences and stories about landlords getting burned due to tenants simply taking their softness for granted and especially taking advantage of a lot of elderly homeowners to live in the places for free and in some cases even filing lawsuits against landlords to simply make money out of them.

Generally, if you are out of a job, buying anything is not a good idea until you have that secured so you aren't burning income into a fire.

Oh yeah, also a LOVE of the real estate industry, and a burning desire to succeed.  

I mean if you checked/changed the air filters and it/they were built up solid with dust and debris that could definitely aid in burning out a capacitor, but they do take time to burn out.

@Dan BlaylockThis depends on the structure and whether it’s a partial or investing in another manner, it boils down to the counterparty and counterparty risk.I have seen in both situations where investors have been burned, and everytime it boiled down to who you were working with more than the actual note

What do you do if your house burns down or is destroyed in a storm, and you can't produce the deed? 

The last 2 years of hot inflation is still burned into all our minds.
