I'm a real estate agent myself and I have found, and continue to find, some GREAT deals for myself and my clients on the MLS.I constantly find deals where the property information is are entered incorrectly, the pictures are horrible and the descriptions are worse.

If a contractor is stepping outside his normal geographic area for a good customer, I think it's fair for the contractor to ask the customer to pay for at least some part of the bond/licensing fee... he may not realistically use it again before it expires.
