While @Phillip Austin mentioned Raleigh is a higher returns its just very much a appreciation market, you will not find rentals that cashflow, so depending on your goals its a good or bad market.

Heathbrook has 61 active, 13 pending, 21 canceled/ expired, and 46 that have leased, so not as bad as the other two.

Over priced, layout is awkward, junky neighbors, back on market/under contract multiple times, bad photos, bad timing(got buried from other listings, weather occurrence, etc). 

Yes, this comes with some risks and limitations and this strategy is not for someone without any reserve as it will put them in a very bad financial position.Thank you

Rents are not bad at all, 3/2 about 1500, 1/1 about 850, 2/2 about 1300.

I am sure there are good and bad locations in Boston.
