Well, actually, many jump in without asking a lot of questions, but they get screwed by crooked/ignorant agents, contractors, etc.Many here will recommend starting out by finding a good agent.We emphatically DISAGREE!

I strongly disagree with the insight above about Scranton / Wilkes Barre market being overpriced for investors.

I am only disagreeing with slamming a/any mentorship solely based on its price.Hell, I went to university (which is a mentorship) for 15 years.

If you buy in areas you can comfortably afford that is growing, favorable laws( I know Carlos P is going to disagree with me here due to Cali), and ideally under the median price you'll make out like a bandit.

Chris, this is one of the VERY few times we disagree - my experience has been that commercial property investment can be more profitable than residential on a continuing basis.
