I have spoken with a couple real estate agents and they are scared to let me have the agreement thinking they are breaking some kind of code of ethics letting me have it.

If it were me, I would reach out to other franchisees in your area (perhaps your Development Agent might have some insight...see...I know the Subway lingo and I've done Subways in my banking days).

Have your notified your insurance agent/company that you are no longer living in the property and that it's under renovation?

Also, your profile says that you're a real estate agent in Canada.

Do you guys have any advice on how can I get started in my real estate journey as an agent and potentially an investor??

@Brett Coultas if you're a newbie, you want to be careful of an "investor friendly" agent selling you something they truly don't understand:(95+% of agents only know how to handle owner-occupied transactions - you can verify this by asking them calculate ROI for you or Cash-On-Cash!

I’m also glad the FCC is cracking down on robocalls for lead generation; it forces people to commit to real prospecting instead of cutting corners.Over the years, I’ve run a solid brokerage team, training agents and now I help people get into wholesaling.

The feedback seems a bit general or maybe you just condensed it for the post...If not, I'd personally have a chat with your agent about what they are asking in those follow-up questions and hope they are assertively making those follow-up phone calls with your showings.
