In MA that is now commonplace to waive inspections which is mind-boggling in some of these older homes but it's working for buyers.I'd never advocate completely waiving on the buy side, just too risky for my blood but on the sell side its like Christmas morning to see a waived inspection.

I am concerned on spending 25K plus on appraisals and inspections just to have someone blow this up at closing.Is there any document I can get signed that could prevent this from happening?

I now have the EMD lender blowing up my phone saying he needs to get paid and if I dont pay him by a certain period or pay more money due to the length its been he is going to "blast" me on his social media and stating he is the "last person I want to mess with", is this allowed?

So if you could add some specifics, we could actually read the text and give a better opinion.But if you know the ordinance is legit and the city says so, then the only way to "get around" it is to do it illegally which could cost you much more in the end.We really try and not advocate breaking the law.
