The Supreme Court, Kings County, while dismissing the complaint and declaring the 2009 mortgage null and void, granted the Plaintiff an equitable mortgage based on the doctrine of equitable subrogation for the amount of the pay-off of the 2001 mortgage.

Here's a VA Supreme Court decision I found interesting and thought some of you might also. 

I thought first come, first serve was shot down / repealed by the state supreme court. 

However, a federal judge recently ruled that this was unconstitutional, and the case will most likely go to the Supreme Court.

As the shortages in supply chains die down and prices come back down to earth, there needs to be supreme focus in building up housing supply.

@Caroline Gerardo  Supreme Court ruled on a case in 1983 and was subsequently written into law that a due on sale related to estate planning grantee is an intervivos trust is exempt from enforcement of lender's remedy under a due on sale clause.

In a way I'm happy to see the moratorium extended because I want the supreme court to rule on the case.
