I purchased a 1500sqft 3/2 wood home about two months ago.

There was a fire escape staircase for the upstairs unit that was made with wood( not metal that was about to fall apart.

Not many BP members in our neck of the woods. 

It looks awesome with the various wood trims we have in various apartments, and also with bright white painted trim.  

@Roy Gottesdiener - I am not familiar with the rental market with Kings Mountain specifically, but there is grow happening in that area with the building of the Catawba Two Kings Casino. 

He told me that everything that was already ugly carpet would get me a higher appraisal if I redid that with nicer carpet rather then peel and stick vinyl wood style flooring.

The reason why you have the "squeaks" is because the nails have become loose in the wood and are moving when you step.

There is fire wood left in the backyard by previous tenants and hope not but what if snakes starts living there and bite the tenant will it be our liability?
