See who represents owners frequently in your jurisdiction and get set up with them.

These are becoming very affordable from retailers like Home Depot and Floor and Decor, and they really set you apart from builder-grade homes!

And, just maybe you’ve purchased at a point where Detroit has hit its low, bottomed out, and is set to reverse trend and grow.  

I am currently doing three approaches and hopefully one of them pans out:1) Networking with others.2) Continuing setting up my Gator transactional lending business. 3) Going through the content.

I think asset prices will continue to grow, areas where millennials can buy affordable real estate will be where I'm setting my sights on.  

If you found a few handymen you could rely on, and make a trip out there for a few days to get things set up with shopping, decorating, and furnishing the STR that would remove the red flag of the property manager, and significantly boost your material participation hours to clear one of the thresholds.

Mine makes it a set standard that each unit they touch MUST meet the section 8 minimum standard of requirements to widen their applicant pool.
