With our MTV bling nation I don't see saving or any sort of prudent behavior persisting.

I say this not to detour you from mobile home investing, but rather your high level of motivation, passion, persistence, due diligence, and willingness to hustle more than others day and night is what is most important in almost any form of REI.

Just be patient and persistent.  

@Dan C. hey thanks Dan, yea i've worked really hard this year and it's been paying off. even though i know little about REI i think my attitude, persistence and determination will be something that will be an asset along the journey!

It's nice to see a guy from PA exhibiting the positive characteristics I observed during my short time in the state: hard working, no excuses and persistent.

In OKC, the REIA has very much an "in group" feel... takes some work and persistence to get any meaningful attention.  

I just started my mailing of postcards last month and as I'm telling other investors about how I work I'm letting them know I don't expect to hear anything for the first few months because I know I've got to be persistent with those mailings first.
