LLP sounds like a solid way to do it and, ironically, one of the folks I would consider partnering with is my attorney.Does it seem reasonable to say that I could fund the purchase of the land, which would be about 100k and the partner funds the down payment for the construction, which would be in the same ballpark?

The $1000 deal is on his limitless website, links are in his youtube descriptions.I've been watching some of his video's too and it does seem interesting and makes a lot of sense.For me, there are still some gaps on how to deal with certain things, but that's mainly because I'm still a rookie.The $1000 doesn't seem too much if you factor in that you need to hire an attorney and have him create an iron-clad lease agreement that references the option agreement.

For example,  I had a bathroom redone, I also had our front iron railing fixed (new feet welded in, cleaned and painted) and resurfaced the cement steps, and some landscaping.
