Turns out it was an Application for Inspection Warrant, and whoever's name was on the document had to be in court on Jan 31st to defend it.

You are not the LLC and unless you are a lawyer, you will not be able to defend your LLC as the LLC has the same standing as a person.

The bottom line seems to be that if you have to defend your self in court be prepared to show the judge what your losses are due to the late payment.
