I think I understand now and you are saying that you have heat but the thermostat is downstairs so upstairs would have no control over the temperature .... is this correct?

Anticipating this to occur within the next 6-7 years, we began discussing possible strategies for business relocation.Here are some facts on the property15,000 sqft of industrial warehouse type space with 40+ft ceilings with two loading dock access points3,000 sqft of finished office space10 parking spaces out frontDad spends about $10k/month for insurance and the mortgage note on the propertyBuilding is lacking a fire sprinkler system-- to bring up to code to get a certificate of occupancy we estimate it would probably take $80k-125k to get that retrofit and make suitable for leasing Currently property taxes are about $70k annuallyneighboring properties have sold for anywhere from $400-500/sq ft. neighboring leases seem to have been advertised anywhere from $12-22/sq ft NNN. pay off on mortgage is about $1.3 million.

They are typically at least $300-500 though.There's also some models of window air conditioners that work in reverse cycle but every one I've seen is at least $400.A 2 ton ductless system is $950 on eBay and will probably work better in heat pump mode at low temperatures.

Joshua, Attic fans are simply a fan with a thermostat that cycles it on when the attic temperature reaches a specified temperature.
