As if there were no tenants in other areas LOLToday I know that tnenats are a little like tourists, they prefer living in an owner occupied area.

Next, the Obama Library will eventually be built creating a few jobs and more tourist to the area which will be another economic anchor in the community (I have discounted the Library as an outright stimulus for growth in the area.

Journalism is a noble profession, but often when writers are covering complicated, multifaceted subjects like real estate investing, they come across as authorities on the subject by virtue of the context - It's printed in the WSJ afterall- but the writers are covering the topic as "tourists", writing about a subject that they have very little first hand experience with.

Because the Fort Myers/Naples area tends to be more upscale, I'm seeing a lot of self storage companies converting portions of their buildings into wine storage and climate controlled vehicle storage which may be one of the ways that they're trying to diversify and break into new market share.
