Memphis is number 3.  40K might be a stretch for an "all in" number, but returns here are good.

Mike, saying that OC will be the same as public housing is a stretch, an opinion, the're no more alike than the GI Bill and OC, and the GI Bill was met with the same heated debate as the healthcare issue as being a social program, now it's widely accepted as a benefit.

Add to that the rising cost of utilities, food, etc. and people are stretched beyond reason. 

If you happen to be good at 7 passive investment vehicles, then I supose you could do all 7, but that seems to be a stretch.

One of them is in his last 5 years of life and going downhill :-(  The other one likely has 10-20 years of life left so I'm trying help them with ideas that make the most of what they have in order to stretch out their comfort.  

You're stretched so thin you can't afford to furnish a rental or even put the utility accounts in your name.

I think the use of your last name would be as far a stretch as I would go. 

By no stretch of the imagination am I a wild success yet, but I say that with a big ‘yet’.
