Decades ago when I used carpets when I was still learning this business I would buy cheap carpet and put heavy pad underneath creating a carpet that feels a lot better then it is.

I was able to save some $$ by pre digging myself to find the line and where the leak was generating from,nar where the soil had standing water at our location, the company sent out a back hoe and finished the job installing a new coupling..
