Hi Kelly, I am a notes investor (based in Dallas too) so I am slightly biased here, but I like buying non-performing notes (for the higher returns, but they are more risky and have longer time horizons) coupled with performing notes for cash flow. 

So I have no bias against them as an general investment.

I'm bias for sure but would definitely go with a broker/lender over big bank.

Now they generally have rules in place that bias them against your offer.

Anyone can paint a pretty picture for THEIR personal preference, but a true consultant also knows and fully discloses the downside too.EG: I'm biased on MFUs (good subject to learn diffs of SFRs vs MFUs) and as you are already into an MFU, stick with what you know. 

While I am very biased, Indianapolis is a very solid market for cash flow opportunities for overseas investors.

I of course am biased as I am doing this myself right now.

@James Syed I figured it would be a bit of bias in the responses as @Dan Burstain favors Austin... but what do you mean SA is not very desirable for exiting?

It will bias your decision and possibly lead to him not appreciating it.
