On property tours I had people with vests and carrying, I had neither.

I went on a lecture tour to Ecuador right before the pandemic. 

Here's a sort of typical two day stretch:Monday:9:00 - Check email and VM and respond as necessary9:30 - Review financials, rent rolls and budgets10:00 - Property tour with agent of properties in our target area, look at maybe 15 houses and make 10 or so offers4:00 - Send offers and property info to VA to input into spreadsheet, Check email again and respond as nessary5:00 - Meet with partner to discuss general strategyTuesday:9:00 Check email and VM and respond as necessary9:30 Poke around on BP  for a bit10:00 Rehab Meeting11:30 Review proposed budgets, accept or decline12:00 Lunch meeting with lender1:30 Do preliminary rehab analysis on property under contract2:30 View house we found from wholeseller/letter/Craigslist/etc.3:30 Check email and VM, respond as necessary4:00 Performance Review with leasing agent/receptionist/maintenance guy or whatever5:00 A little more BPAnd so it goes...

I have my eye on an older property (1920s), and after touring the place it became evident that a two-story ADU was built and connected to the original structure.

Would a suggestion be just to tour the property and find what the issue is?

So the wife takes the grand tour comes back out to the car telling me it is in great shape and the lady told her she is willing to negotiate on pricing .
