@Alan Brooks - While that's a great attitude to have, keep in mind most residential brokerages view investment real estate as sort of a tangent. 90% of agents are all out there cold calling the same expired listings and chasing the same first time home buyers.

I think getting down on mobile homes and parks is an elitist attitude.

If you are an outsider doing business in Hawaii is very difficult since there is a lot of archaic regulation where the locals know and who to contact to get around things or they totally disregard them - call it the lax attitude.
