But the traffic pattern and overall customer interest that a listing received can be used as a very good proxy to distinguish between a "turn key luxury unit" and a "fixer upper" too (I bet redfin/zillow is already incorporating that into their models as a signal).

STR's can certainly work in Salem, but are location dependent (ie being in the city for the university or state traffic vs out in the country for wine tourism).

If they allowed people to rent by the room, you would have too many cars, traffic, and make the neighborhood look dumpier (you can't tell a tenant who has a crap truck not to park there).

I need to find a better solution for both concrete paint/coating for high-traffic areas and flooring (I have had tons of issues with LVP with water from entrances and separation and unlocking), and I want to know if it is worth spending the extra money on metal roofing due to its durability.I look forward to hearing about your experiences!
