For an introvert-shy-engineer type like myself it was an education and required learning to be more comfortable operating well out of my shell.There are real risks of self managing,  and these are getting more pronounced, especially in some "blue" areas where the definition of discrimination and what constitutes 'fair housing practices' is evolving and getting more complex, subtle, and subjective.

I've listened to many books on Audible, like The Total Money Makeover, Rich Dad Poor Dad, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck, How To Win Friends And Influence People, and others.I joined the Marines right out of high school and served for 8 years.

Maybe first try yellow letters handwritten (pastel color letter to make it look like it’s from a relative, with a unique stamp= higher chance of an open), 3 to 4 weeks later try a post card, 4 weeks later try another post card and so on.

Kiyosaki- obviously his Rich Dad, Poor Dad is monumental for getting your mindset right.The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clayson is a book I'll read to my kids as a bedtime story (seriously).The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines - this book is packed full of inspiration that will change your outlook on overcoming failures and hardships.The Miracle Morning by the one and only Hal Elrod.The E-Myth revisited by Michael Gerber.So Good They Can't Ignore You by Cal Newport.And last but not least, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*** by Mark Manson - this one will be a book I read and re-read for the rest of my life.

Here she is starting to apply the color in the kitchen.Below are other rooms we have painted to date:It's kind of hard to tell due to the light filtering, but we painted the bathroom yellow.Kind of a pastel mint green on the bedrooms.And a beige color for the living room and hall.
