@Jim Rice Yes are you trying to create notes, do you own some and want to sell them or you trying to broker notes?

The BiggerPockets store has books that will teach you how to analyze properties.

Recently, my mother has indicated her wish to sell the family property where I grew up in Isabela, Puerto Rico.

It sounds like you will not have lived in the property for 2 out of the 5 years immediately prior to selling it. 

Just try to sell it to someone else for anything so you don't lose all of your money.

Watch it for a while, track listings, see what sells and what doesnt, what areas move quickly, etc.

A lot of people are sitting tight in homes they bought from 2017-2022 so I would be curious if we'll see those people sell and move. 

If you hold for 2 years then sell, I feel very strongly that you will do well. 

It would be wise to rectify it before transfer of title so your starting off clean and hopefully won't have any issues when you go to sell down the road.
