Hi, I am just about to get started in real estate for the first time: I am thinking about getting a triplex.

Rents have gone down since I started my research.

That said, even with conservative rental income estimates, my living expenses would eventually drop to several hundred dollars less than what I’m currently paying in rent once the house hack starts generating income.I do have cash reserves to weather some rough patches, but the idea of pushing my budget this hard makes me uneasy.

Any LLC we start in the future will be held in the trust.

My guess is we will probably start to see more of this as its one thing for a deal to go bad another if the sponsor is negligent and did not do what they said they would.
