If your credit needs improvement, consider moving into a short-term rental (STR) or medium-term rental (MTR) while working on fixing your credit.

Both properties listed on Airbnb and VRBO as short and medium term rentals.

Figure out the best medium in which you meet these folks (in person, LinkedIn, networking groups etc)4.
