I know it's ironic that I am a CPA in public accounting...but I don't do taxes!

There's a theory that the bronze age collapse several thousand years ago was caused by using something useful (bronze) as currency for a long time, and that thing that was the basis for currency suddenly being less useful (iron invented), leading to all the stores of wealth (bronze, or currency backed by bronze) plummeting in value, and a downward spiral from there.

I use WSFS for most of my investments, but I have heard good things about Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and Iron Workers Bank.

Ironic to actually cross paths here. :)In either circumstance, notes have always been an interesting topic to me for the variety of what could be constituted a note and what you can actually add to your note portfolio to diversify other investment vehicles in the grand scheme of ones portfolio.I do have a question though, do you know anyone who has invested in lottery winnings?

Then on top of that we usually discover a heat vent covered in asbestos & full of old oil fce residue/dust, then we discover a run of random cast iron vent plumbing.

You can have the most iron clad mortgage and personal guarantee but if you are lending to an investor who is not qualified or financially stable then you are rolling the dice.  

I don't reside in  Florida(but visit often) so I'd need the assistance of   a credible realtor or  savy investor to iron out the details . 

I'm in the process of hunting for my first investment property - I'm in talks with a realtor who has basically said to let him know what properties interest me and we can do more research from there (ironing out the costs I'm going to be looking at if I were to purchase the property).
