House has good hardwood floors.

I am curious to hear what others have done in this situation is it better to remove the plaster and do sheetrock but that will take away from the history of it.4 bedroom, 4 bath, 4 fireplaces, 4 kitchenettes, all hardwood floors 2 story.  2 units upstairs, 2 unit downstairs. 

Pull back far enough to get beyond the tack strip and keep the info to yourself if you find hardwood gold!  

@Aaron Klatt This three story multi- family residence built in 1880 with 7 bedrooms offers lots of character with lots of windows for natural lighting, hardwood floors throughout, multiple fireplaces, built-in bookshelves and a covered wrapped porch!

Hardwood floors or Tiles must be swept once a week.

Love it when the contractor tells the home owner a wall can be removed and a new lam beam installed for 400 bucks....or the new hardwood through out the entire 2000sq house for $1800...I cringe when i go to a potential clients house and tell them their bathroom reno will be about 15k and they tell me they saw the samE thing done on hgtv for 5k!!

Will be fixing the all the hardwood floors, replacing windows, fixing the small cracks in the plaster walls, paint, landscaping, replacing the front stairs and porch surface.

But it needs a thorough good paint job, ripping out old carpet, putting new ones,  or scraping g hardwood floors etc.

I completely gutted and remodeled the kitchen and bathroom, refinished the hardwood floors, added central air all while living in the property.
