A range can cost $500 for a basic one from Home Depot to $10k for a viking 6 burner, etc.  

You can always ask for more time from the seller if you need it to close the deal, but asking for professionals to take the time to (do what exactly) is not very fruitful and it's something they MAY put on the back-burner.

@Neil Beeharry if you take one unit off the oil burner, that oil burner will be oversized for one unit.

But maybe for the next week or 10 days, put it on the back burner and concentrate on having a good holiday instead.

You can easily be set on the back burner if you're not a prime investor, they will always put out fires where there bread is buttered, attention goes first toward the dollars, then to the change. 

If the 50% rule and the asking price are too far apart we put it on the back burner and track its sale to see what ends up happening with the property.

my main thing is he wants me to sign a new lease and raise my rent with out working on the inside of the house, I have a stove with only two burners working, cracks down the walls, ect
