By the way I've only heard of agents going after the clients in very, very few circumstances and usually the buyers were blatantly trying to cut out the agent.

You can certainly try to get the tenant to pay for the window (or part of it), but I'm telling you if they refuse there is just no way I see you being able to hold them responsible for it unless the garbage can was placed in a way that was so blatantly negligent that this was a foreseeable outcome (nothing of the sort was mentioned in your original post so I didn't assume that was the case).

Not once has anyone provided an excuse that rises above the blatant necessity for a potential buyer to view a property before making an offer.Duh.The next thing I wonder is what other dumb things has the seller done, or neglected to do, to the property?

In no way shape or form is the wording intended to be a vehicle where lenders can argue value with appraisers as, which ought to be obvious to any unbiased party, that would be a blatant act of impeding appraiser independence - an appraisal is not a debate.And by the way, the law reads "any person".
