Like most markets, there is a growing trend in the area due to affordability and increasing more things to do. 

This property only needs a pool and furniture to get it to spectacular status.

I believe Paula Pant had a recent podcast episode on Afford Anything that featured a couple who lives in Japan and invests in the US.

It's a stalemate due to affordability and either wages or prices give, I would bet the latter. 

Just get it under contract as quickly as possible... an multi- page realtor supplied purchase contract often does not afford you the luxury of time.  

Some people have $35,000 to throw around, but I definitely can’t afford to waste money like that.

I want to avoid falling into a mindset of thinking we can't afford to invest because of the needs in front of us.

Can you include furniture or fridge or washer and dryer? 

@Brett Riemensniderwe don't know all the details, but as i said that's a very expensive way to buy property - if you can't afford a property without overleveraging then you might just have to save up more.

The original posters / plaintiffs now go silent on social media but the secondary investors still believe the original posts and simply repeat it continually in an effort to convince themselves that the money they should have never invested because they couldn’t afford to lose is going to be recovered in short order.Of course this is just fantasy on my part, I have no way of knowing how much of it, if any is true.
