Having lived in IN for 8 years before moving to Austin TX, I believe this city offers great opportunity now and much potential.

If you're okay with that, you can buy in just about any MIdwest city, just make sure you know the landlord-tenant laws.We've broken down the City of Detroit's 183 Neighborhoods, can share if interested.

Like @Collin Hays said, it is being driven more by neighbors tired of poor STR owners not keeping things sorted.We only look for places in vacation areas with a long history of owner driven STRs vs big cities and the like.

You could reach out to a few Property Managers in Salt Lake City to see if any of them would be able to give you advice for the area, as they would be familiar with the region and what to expect from the investment! 

I understand some of the economic factors that can lead one to a particular city or province (or state), but unsure of some of the key elements as you funnel down below that level.Appreciate any insight.Tyler
